Year 5 and 6 Residential Trip
Each year the children in Year 5 and 6 are invited to take part in a three-day residential trip orgainsed by the school. We alternate years between attending an outdoor activity centre, such as PGL Liddington in Wiltshire, and an urban, youth hostel based experience.
In June 2018, year 5 and 6 will be heading out on an action-packed trip to Pinkery Centre in Exmoor National Park. More information about this year's trip can be found by asking in our school office.
The activity centre visit lasts for three days and during that time the children will be challenged to participate in a series of action-packed, adrenaline-filled activities. Some of the activities on offer include: mountain-biking, low ropes courses, bushcraft, archery, abseiling and climbing.
We notice a real difference in learning aspects such as self-esteem, confidence and risk-taking after the children have been away on our residential and it is a very valuable experience for all who go.
Please take a moment to view all the exciting things we got up to at PGL in 2015.
