Castle Primary School looks forward to fully opening from 08 March 2021

Castle Primary School are delighted to welcome back all pupils from 08 March. It will have been a long eight weeks for many.  We have missed our pupils that have been homeschooled during this recent lockdown but there is light at the end of the tunnel.  The recent government announcement to include all schools to fully open and the planned 'roadmap' to ease restrictions and ease us all out of lockdown has been very welcomed news. We can now start to plan and resume a route back to a more normal way of life.

Until then stay safe and carry on learning!

School Closure February 18th Due to Adverse Weather

School Closure due to the Potential Impact of Extreme Weather   Dear parents and carers,    School and Nursery will be closed tomorrow, Friday 18th February 2022, for all children.    Although we would like to be open and we are mindful of the impact that school closures have on young people and parents, Somerset County Council has issued a ‘do not travel’ warning for tomorrow morning. All education leaders across the county have received an email this afternoon to advise that all schools, early years settings and colleges should close for the day due to the potential impacts of Storm Eunice.   Remote education will be available through the normal routes.   Please be cautious tomorrow and we wish you a restful half-term break.    Yours sincerely    S Morton Head of School School Closure due to the Potential Impact of Extreme Weather   Dear parents and carers,    School and Nursery will be closed tomorrow, Friday 18th February 2022, for all children.    Although we would like to be open and we are mindful of the impact that school closures have on young people and parents, Somerset County Council has issued a ‘do not travel’ warning for tomorrow morning.
