Year Six Leavers
The Year Sixes had an emotional evening last night at their Leavers' Show and Presentation Evening. They transported their audience 84 years into the future, to the year 2100, where the Class of 2016 were reuniting! The children had great fun dressing up as nonagenarians, and sang four songs about their time at Castle, and moving on. They performed brilliantly (as usual), and emotions were running high among the children, parents and teachers (past and present) who had gathered to celebrate together. After a break to dry their eyes, Mr Handscomb and Mr Penn presented the children with their Leavers' Awards, and Mr Handscomb gave some special prizes out too. It was a wonderful evening. We'll miss you, Year 6 - good luck!
